| | | Wild Nights! Wild Nights! by Emily Dickinson for every poet! | myLot Discussions| Up late? Think of me | | Give me ten words you think of when you see the word "WILD."I'm up late tonight working on literature homework, and I just did a focused writing exercise on a poem called Wild Nights by Emily Dickenson. Here's the poem if you wanna read it before giving me your ten words.Wild nights—Wild Nights!
Were I with thee
Wild nights should be
Our luxury! Futile the winds
To a heart in port—
Done with the compass,
Done with the chart! Rowing in Eden—
Ah, the sea!
Might I moor, tonight,
In thee! | |
| | Do you remember Hootie & the Blowfish? | | "She went in the back to get high and I sat down on my couch & cried..."I'm diggin' it, say whatever ya want.

| | What is love | | To me love is dizzy...
So sweet the taste...
Lovers like the stars and moon at chase...
Heart beats play and race...
Kisses wild...
Fevers hot in the touch...
Feelings over power so much...Taking hands...
Hearts in the sand...
Whipers in years...
Sharing happiness and fears...
Holding tears...Joining the lights...
Holding so tight...
Fireworks in the night...
Souls painting...
Blending as one...
Always wanting to stay to never run...
Forever together...
So sweet the dance...
Love is candle light with tender romance...
Wild nights...
Soft days in the sun...
Laughing and having fun... JUST BEING ONE....

| | Parents: What do you think about Britney’s Parenting??? | | I recently started watching the news again and I was surprised to see all the things going on with Britney Spears and her babies. After her first one, I thought her parenting would get slightly better, I mean, kids made Madonna step up and mature a whole lot faster because she realized (especially since her child was a girl) that she needed to be a positive role model for her children. Now, with Britney’s new ‘Party Girl’ image, who’s taking care of her children? This is an interesting article that I found online.----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Child Services To Crack Down On Britney?
A source close to the singer told the newspaper: "The department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her, so they can check on (Spears' baby boys, Sean Preston and Jaden James). The calls started after this recent bout of bizarre public behavior."The Post reports that Spears' family is also worried about her new party lifestyle — and antics with the paparazzi (i.e. being caught in photos sans underwear).A source told the Post that Spears' mother, Lynne, "is very disturbed and has been trying to get a hold of Britney, but... | |

| | Things you may have never known about CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! | | Christmas Day is a winter holiday, most commonly celebrated on December 25, with many religious and secular aspects including the birth of Jesus, exchanging gifts, the Santa Claus myth, and various other winter celebrations. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate on December 25 by the Julian calendar, which currently corresponds to January 7 on the Gregorian calendar. These dates are merely traditional; the precise chronology of Jesus' birth and death, as well as the historicity of Jesus, are still debated. The popularity of Christmas can be traced in part to its status as a winter festival. Many cultures have historically celebrated their most important holiday in winter because there is less agricultural work to do at this time. Examples of winter festivals that have influenced Christmas include the pre-Christian festivals of Yule[1] and Saturnalia. Many of the traditions associated with the holiday have origins in these pagan winter celebrations. In Western culture, the holiday is characterized by the exchange of gifts among friends and family members, some of the gifts being attributed to Santa Claus (also known as Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, Saint Basil and... | |
