| | a dream within a dream | | I have a friend who said that she always experiences having A Dream within A Dream. In her dream she woke up and talked to her seatmate in the office and she thought she was really doing it only to find out that she was still sleeping. She said in her dream she was very sure she woke up and conscious that she was talking with her seatmate and that she was very conscious when she walked to the bathroom to wash her face. it all seemed real until she woke up.
Have you ever experienced this? My friend who believes in paranormal psychology said that A Dream within A Dream is a manifesttion that there are some spirits roaming around that place.
Do you have a similar experience? it's scarey. | |
| | A Dream Within A Dream, Why Does This Happen? | | This has happened to me about twice already. I had a lazy talk with my friends once and this topic came about. I thought all the while that I was alone in this experience. How many among us here have experieced this? Will you be able to share it here?I was still a college student then. Everyone was already asleep so i went into my bedroom and have my night's rest. Then i started dreaming about some more projects which had to be done. Sometime later, my dream shifted to a horrible scene. There was a tiny all clad in white girl, who wanted to harm me. she held in her both hands a very big pair of well sharpened scissors. Then she tripped me by the feet. Of course, I fell right through the pair of scissors and was awakened before I got hurt. The dream seemed so true and so I felt the need to go to the bathroom after drinking a glass of cold water. As I struggled to do so, I fell full weight onto the floor! I was still very much asleep! | |

| | Paranormal activities- personal experience | | Numerous evidence exists in our loved universe of paranormal activities occurring on daily basis. Personally, I have seen some paranormal activities in my young life of 23 years. In one case, for a day, I saw shadowy figures roaming around in my house. When I wanted to take a proper look, they would smile and vanish.In 2 other cases, these activities were dream based. 3 years back, I was taking a nap when I felt the pillow below being drawn out by a serene but threatening looking lady who wanted to strangulate me with the pillow. In sleep, i felt the pillow on my mouth and desperately trying to catch breath. When i woke up, I was in sweats and the pillow was lying on the ground. I still wonder what had happened? From that day, whenever I went into that room, I could feel a 'chill' always. When I worked on the computer, I could feel someone standing behind me and observing. I'm not sure what my single favorite thing is, but some of my favorites are "The Pit and the Pendulum.", "The Raven", "A Dream within a Dream", and "Silence". | | We Don't Exist..... or Do we? | | This is my summary of a bunch of theories and stuff.I think the universe is a very complicated thing. People often describe it as a vaccuum, but I don't get that analagy. How the hell is it a vaccuum? I don't see the universe cleaning up my room. Wanna know how i see the universe? I see it the way "the sims" see the inside of my harddrive. They're not programmed to even know what they're made of. But what if we created a game (like the sims) 20 years from now? Our technology has improved so much that a program like that may have the ability to evolve. We will surely create some sort of A.I. in the future. Will the A.I. realize it's exssitance is only inside of a computer? How is it supposed to not know? If it is self-aware, requires (albiet digital) food, water, sunlight, isn't it alive?
